Processing Procedure

  1. Add items 1-3 to a beaker and mix.
  2. Add item 4 and allow to hydrate.
  3. Add item 6 and begin to heat to 70 - 75 °C.
  4. Add item 5 and allow it to melt while continuing to mix.
  5. Begin cooling and add items 7-8 at 45 - 50 °C.
  6. Stop mixing at room temperature.

Physical Properties

Translucent fluid. Final pH: 4.5 – 5.5.

ProCondition™ 22: Vegetable-derived cationic conditioning agent for hair care, with superior properties such as superb dry combability without build-up. It can be the primary emulsifier to build high viscosity formulations.

Spectrastat™: Blend of multifunctional ingredients that use hurdle technology to create self-preserving formulations that pass challenge tests without the inclusion of traditional preservatives, even at neutral pH, where many other alternative preservation systems are ineffective.
