Conrad A. Plimpton, longtime Chairman and CEO of Inolex and a respected leader in the global personal care industry, passed away on April 19 at the age of 83. A visionary deal maker and entrepreneur with a deep passion for applied science, Conrad led the 1981 buyout of Inolex and helped shape it into the independent, multigenerational ingredient design firm it is today.
