Ted Laarkamp is VP, Global Supply Chain. He leads Inolex's vital supply chain platform, ensuring supply continuity of raw materials and finished good to meet global demand. Ted is responsible for managing our manufacturing partnerships globally. Formerly, Ted was VP Operations and led the transition to our flagship manufacturing facility in Charlotte, USA.

Perspective

I’m constantly energized by the modernization and improvement initiatives that are underway. This is what most interests me as our manufacturing business evolves. Seeing many of these improvements through, with the help of a talented team, is extremely rewarding. There is always so much more to do.

My motto: Do what you say, and say what you do. This is one of Inolex’s core values "We are True to Our Word". As the organization continues to grow in size and complexity, my job is to make sure that the focus remains constant on developing programs, improving work flows and maintaining the highest standards in our operational structure (safety, quality, procurement).

Things that come easy: Building relationships at all levels. Having direct conversations, sometimes about nothing in particular, is key to building trust. Understanding that listening is half of the conversation. Building structure out of chaos.
