The notification mentions March 17, 2025, as the transition date. What should we do about our needs prior to March 17, 2025?
Please continue working with Univar as you have been until March 17, 2025. If you have requests, new orders, or other account needs from March 17th onward, please contact Inolex directly.
Who can I contact with questions about this change and how do I set up my account directly with Inolex?
Direct contact and feedback are important to us. Our team is here to guide you through the onboarding process and provide multiple channels of support for a seamless transition.

- Speak with an Inolex salesperson who will be contacting you to introduce themselves and ensure a smooth transition of your account.
- Visit www.inolex.com to get familiar with resources available to you.
What materials should I have on hand to complete the onboarding process?
To get started, please click https://onboarding.inolex.com where you can set up your company as a direct Inolex customer. Before starting, we recommend having the following documents on hand to ensure a smooth setup process:
- Federal Tax ID Number Certificate
- W-9
- Tax Exemption Form
If applying for credit terms, please have:
- Bank Name
- Bank Account Number
- Bank Contact Name
- Bank Contact Phone Number
- Bank Street Address
- Credit Line amount Requested
- Trade References (If available)
You are welcome to save your information on the portal mid-way through completion. Simply revert back to input final details then click submit. A member of our Customer Success team will then be in touch to complete the process.
Why are you transitioning accounts directly to Inolex?

Transitioning to a direct business model with Inolex allows you to take full advantage of our platform with greater transparency, focused sales and technical support, and direct communication. By working directly together, we can streamline access to resources and explore exciting opportunities for innovation. We aim to build a strong, collaborative partnership with you that supports your current needs and helps build the future of beauty and personal care together.
What should I do about my existing purchase orders with Univar?
We encourage you to keep your existing Univar purchase orders for material shipping prior to March 17, 2025. Please place all purchase orders with shipping dates on or after March 17, 2025, directly with Inolex. To ensure a smooth transition, we recommend setting up your account directly with Inolex as soon as you can to begin the process. Visit https://onboarding.inolex.com.
We will work with you to begin transitioning your orders, forecasts, pricing, terms, lead times, shipping locations, and other requirements.
Where can I find new pricing, lead times, and ship from location(s)?
Your Inolex salesperson will be in touch to share pricing, lead times, and shipping from locations for all existing products you purchase from Univar.
What should I do about any open requests to Univar for projects, product samples, or documentation?
Inolex and Univar will remain in partnership until March 17, 2025. Your current request should be fulfilled by Univar during this time. For future sample and documentation requests, please visit www.inolex.com or reach out to your Inolex salesperson.
How do I request product samples, prototypes or technical collateral?
Inolex has a high standard for ingredient safety and transparency. We ensure Inolex ingredients meet the rigorous demands of modern brands and conscious consumers by transparently providing as much validated information on our technologies as possible. Visit www.inolex.com request product samples, ingredient prototypes, and explore the latest Inolex product resources.
Can I order directly with Inolex right now?
Yes, you can setup up your account in our system immediately and place orders for material shipping on or after March 17, 2025. Your Inolex salesperson will be in touch to talk about your specific needs.
Can I still order Inolex products from Univar Solutions?
As of March 17, 2025, Inolex products will no longer be available to order through Univar. All purchase orders with shipping dates on and after March 17, 2025, should be placed directly with Inolex.
How can I place an order with Inolex?
Please complete your customer onboarding via https://onboarding.inolex.com. Our Customer Success team will then be in touch to follow up with you within 1 business day.
Will there be any changes to the products I currently purchase?
Be assured, there will not be any change to safety, quality, pack size, or tradenames of Inolex products.
How can I make payments for my purchase orders with Inolex?
If your company already has an account with Inolex and you’d like to make payment for an order, please reach out directly to our Customer Success team at welcome@inolex.com or by phone from 8:00am–7:00pm ET at +1 215.271.0800.
How does this change impact my existing agreements with Univar?
We recommend reaching out to Univar to discuss any agreement currently in place between your company and Univar.
Additionally, we’d be happy to explore opportunities to establish agreements directly with you and Inolex that align with your needs and support a strong partnership moving forward. Your Inolex salesperson will be in touch to assist with any questions.
