Jennie Creech leads product sustainability at Inolex, embedding sustainability deeper within the company's innovation and commercialization strategies. Creech joined Inolex in 2019 and previously served as a technical key account manager. Prior to joining Inolex, she held positions in technical sales and R&D with Clariant. She holds a chemistry degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Creech's leadership affirms Inolex's focus on sustainability. The company is committed to biobased, traceable, biodegradable, and circular solutions.

"Inolex technologies elevate the consumer experience, making sustainability and performance inseparable," explained Miao Wang, VP-Research, Development and Commercialization, Inolex. "The appointment of Jennie Creech to director of sustainability underscores our commitment to creating safer, greener, simply better ingredients for beauty and personal care products."

Creech is a presenter at Discover Sustainability, a featured program at NYSCC Suppliers' Day in New York City, taking place May 19th at 10:00 am at the Javits Center. Her presentation, "Sustainability Driven Performance: Root to Ocean," details how sustainable design is most impactful when it solves a critical market need. For example, Inolex expanded its platform of sustainable plant-based conditioning ingredients to include the next generation of polyesteramines and esteramine emollients. These eco-friendly alternatives to quats and polyquats contain hydrolyzable ester bonds that break down into biodegradable fragments, reducing persistence and bioaccumulation. Unlike quats, they lack permanent cationic charge, lowering aquatic toxicity while delivering consumer-desired performance from root to tip.

In all its chemistries, Inolex leverages responsibly sourced renewable feedstocks. Designed with the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry in mind, these materials are biodegradable and exhibit no ecotoxicity at end-of-life, ensuring a positive impact beyond the consumer experience.

Inolex is undergoing tremendous growth and is committed to introducing five or six new products a year. The company is elevating the customer experience, too. At its headquarters in the heart of Philadelphia, Inolex is making a bold investment in a new Ingredient Design Center. Set to open in 2027, the Ingredient Design Center will give Inolex access to a diverse consumer base to provide feedback on its ingredients and prototypes.

Part of The Hall, a collaborative space Inolex opened in 2023, the Ingredient Design Center integrates every dimension of ingredient development, from science-based claim substantiation to capturing the voice of customers and consumers, ensuring that Inolex's solutions are both technically superior and market-relevant. The Center will provide customers with rapid prototyping, robust data, and claim support.

Her leadership underlines Inolex's guiding principle: Safer. Greener. Simply Better ingredients for the global beauty and personal care industry.
