Industry veteran with over 15 years of experience in formulation science, technical service, and customer-driven innovation.

Rishabh Shah joined Inolex as director of R&D, applications & technical service on April 6th. He brings more than 15 years of experience leading technical teams across the personal care, home care, and industrial specialties sectors, with a customer-first mindset and a track record of translating customer needs into commercial results.

Most recently, Shah served as director of technology at Acme-Hardesty, where he led technical, quality, and regulatory teams, drove the launch of more than 70 new ingredients, and built trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, and distributors worldwide. Prior to that, he held technical and R&D roles at Lubrizol Advanced Materials, Johnson & Johnson, and Colgate-Palmolive, working across skin care, color cosmetics, baby care, oral care, and OTC categories.

At Inolex, Shah will lead the Application Lab and focus on accelerating prototype development and hands-on formulation work, deepening customer engagement, and translating market trends into innovation that supports new ingredient launches. He will work closely with R&D, marketing, sales, and regulatory teams to keep Inolex’s technical capabilities a competitive differentiator. Shah was drawn to Inolex’s commitment to sustainable innovation and sees an opportunity to build on that foundation with both scientific leadership and direct customer partnerships.

Shah holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Rutgers University and is pursuing a Master’s in Regulatory Sciences. He is an active member of the SCC and has presented at STLE, Specialty Ag, and SCC events.
