Inolex Appoints Nancy Appelquist Director of Supply Chain
Industry veteran with over two decades of experience leading operations, strategy and team development.
Nancy Appelquist joined Inolex as director of supply chain on January 19. She has more than two decades of experience leading supply chain operations, logistics strategy, and team development across the agricultural, chemical, and consulting sectors.
Prior to joining Inolex, Appelquist was vice president of supply chain at Sustainable Oils, Inc. There, she oversaw global inventory and production planning, transportation logistics, and partner network expansion. Prior to that, Appelquist spent over 15 years with Entira, Inc., consulting on supply chain and operations strategy for agricultural clients, including network redesigns and product launches from concept through execution. She also held key leadership roles at American Cyanamid/BASF, managing a $300M inventory budget and implementing process improvements that significantly enhanced customer service performance and reduced operational costs.
Throughout her career, Appelquist built a reputation for aligning supply chain operations with broader business goals, whether through contract negotiation, staff development, data-driven forecasting, or technology integrations like SAP. She was particularly drawn to Inolex’s dedication to sustainable innovation in personal care ingredients, and identified a unique opportunity to build a transparent, responsive, and environmentally aligned supply chain that supports the Inolex mission.
Appelquist earned a degree in business logistics from Penn State University.
